It's IMS Membership renewal season!

Our membership campaign kicked off on November 3!  Be on the lookout for ads, like the one above, highlighting IMS membership and what IMS does for physicians across the state. 

Here are ways that you can help promote IMS membership this year:

• Talk about IMS at work.  Your voice speaks volumes about how IMS has impacted you.  Position yourself as a resource to your colleagues for the renewal and joining process.
• Encourage group membership.  If your practice does not already have a group membership with IMS, we'd love to talk with your leadership about the benefits.  You can be a great conduit by helping us set a meeting.  Please contact Heather Lee (hlee@iowamedical.org) at IMS to assist.

IMS Travel Club - are you in?

The Iowa Medical Society would like to begin hosting an annual trip for members through a group travel company.  We'd like your input on things like where to go, how long to get away, cost of the trip, and general interest.  Please take a moment to fill out our brief survey! 

Get connected with Iowa physicians

The Iowa Medical Society has opened member forums for select groups of physicians.  Consider joining one of these groups and be a part of the conversation:

• IMS Residents (within your membership portal online)
• IMS Early Career Physicians (within your membership portal online)
• LinkedIn Closed Group

Bring your white coat & meet your legislators

Physician Day on the Hill is just around the corner.  Be sure to put it on your calendar now and register to join us at the Iowa State Capitol on Tuesday, February 17.  Fill a car with your colleagues, join the Iowa City bus, or head over on your own.  Your voice matters and we need you!
