A July 3rd Member Celebration

Join us for one of Iowa’s favorite summer traditions—with a physician twist!

Pops with Docs is back, and you’re invited to gather with fellow members, family, and friends for a festive evening of music, community, and fireworks as we tune in to the Des Moines Symphony’s Yankee Doodle Pops.

Location: IMS Headquarters, 515 E Locust St. Des Moines IA
Date: Friday, July 3
Time: 7:30 PM – 10:00 PM (or until the fireworks wrap up)

🎶 The Symphony concert begins at approximately 8:30 PM

🎇 What to Expect

Settle in for a relaxed, family-friendly evening as we enjoy:

  • Listening to the Yankee Doodle Pops concert
  • A spectacular fireworks finale over downtown Des Moines
  • Time to connect with colleagues outside of the clinical setting

Whether you stay for the whole evening or just come for the fireworks, this is an easy, fun way to celebrate the holiday with your IMS community.

We’ll have snacks and drinks available for all guests—just bring yourself and your festive spirit!

🚗 Parking Made Easy

Parking will be available in the parking ramp on E 6th Street.

Who’s Invited?

This is a family-friendly event and open to all IMS members—feel free to bring your spouse, kids, or guests!

What to Bring (Optional)

Make yourself comfortable! Consider bringing:

  • Lawn chairs or blankets (though we will be inside our office building)
  • Bug spray
  • Your favorite patriotic gear
