Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa, Department of Orthopedics is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate-Certified to work full-time in our busy clinic. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team of highly dedicated physicians and staff whose primary mission is to provide high quality, compassionate care to our patients.
Provider will assess, treat and conduct follow up visits for orthopedic patients, including providing surgical assistance.
This Provider will provide services by performing the following duties:
-Performs medical examinations and evaluations, diagnoses, treatment, follow-up, consultation, and health education.
-Assess patient health concerns; diagnose and determine treatment plan.
-Order treatment, therapy and prescriptions as needed.
-Communicate with patients in a timely and professional manner with courtesy and dignity.
-Rotating schedule to cover some early evenings and some call coverage may be required.
Qualifications:
-Current, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) license or Physician Assistant license
-Clinical practice expertise preferred.
-Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills
-Proficiency (or ability to become proficient) in EMR and related computer systems.
-Commitment to patient care and teamwork.
-Excellent communication skills, professionalism, reliability, and maintaining confidentiality.
-Thorough understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
